:( It's been a long, long time...
Jan. 29th, 2005 08:29 amI went through this morning and seriously slashed at my flist. I swear it's nothing personal - I've just had such a hard time keeping things together that my online stuff has fallen seriously by the way-side... and if I'm ever going to keep up w/ it, I had to slash and burn.
I hate that I don't have time to keep up with everyone. And it kinda aches that every time I have to go through and do this, I see more and more of the fandom people I've started to consider family on the list of people I'm removing. Now that Farscape is over, we (at least I - I'm not sure if anyone else has experienced this or not) seem to have less and less in common. :(
I still haven't even watched PK Wars. I'd actually kind of like to see the whole series again (or at least the last half of season 4!) before I watch it. That, and I'm kinda scared to. I'm scared of being disappointed in it, or of severe emotional trauma if I'm *not* disappointed. And it'll really be over, then.
( my mental state and acuity, if anyone's interested )
I've started teaching myself Japanese. So far I can write out the hiragana syllabery (sp?) pretty fluently, and read it back only slightly less so, and I've gotten much, much better at katakana. It's almost time to start tackling Kanji.
Anyone know of a site that has really basic Japanese to try to read? Like stories or manga or some-such?
Oh, and we have baby puppies, btw. Seven (!!!) of them. They're adorable, and *so* sweet! Finding homes for them all might be a challenge though, but surely to goodness we can appeal to the Gods to help...?
