Blehhhh... and I mean that...
Dec. 17th, 2004 08:39 amFeel bad.
Apparently I was/am developing bronchitis (something I actually hadn't had since I was little, but then I had it all the time.) So the nice doctor at the walk-in clinic gave me antibiotics and some over the counter stuff for my congestion (the kind w/o the normal decongestant because I do have high blood pressure and would really rather not explode, thnx.) I also picked up some medicated lip goo b/c since I've had a stuffy nose for several days my lips are all chapped and owie.
I needed a break from work anyway - the doctor told me if I could afford to to stay home the rest of the week, and while I don't have the pto for it, well, I'll make do w/o the pay, and I did get an md note re: no really, I really was sick. So yeah.
It gives me time to work on christmas prezzies though, and cards, which is tres good - I'm planning on going home (I stayed w/ Brian last night) and getting all my artsy crafty stuff together and putting in dvds and staying in bed, thankuverymuch.
I keep running a fever off and on, but it's hard to tell for sure b/c the zoloft raises my body temp a couple degrees anyway. (I used to baseline at 97.2-5, now it's about 99.3 on a regular basis. And have I mentioned I'm Sebacean? Ugh.)
In any case, I'm gonna grab my stuff and go home. Hopefully my dvds will have come in (or at least Beck's LotR: RotK EE... please oh mail gods (Hermes, Mercury, Iris, etc.)? My newfound Lost buddy Karen burned me temp DVDs so I can see all that I missed and rewatch to my heart's content until the official ones come out. Yay!
