Yes, we all have little eye-patches. Yes, there's a ship sinking in the header. Yes, for today we're all updating our "Captain's Logs". All these things? Historical pirates. Johnny Depp-type pirates. It bugs me when people *willfully* misunderstand something in order to cause trouble. Dude. ::headdesk::

That said, I think it's quite cute. I need a stuffed parrot.

In other news, I'm disturbed that the little tab over the stickies on the wings of the Always pads now says "Have a happy period." (Probably Girly TMI, but yeah.)

And tonight, (or as soon as serendipityxxi looks at the draft one more time) there will be BSG fic!

Actually, it gets worse. In conversations with someone called sofaviolet, she admits it's not about a moral outrage against terrorism...she's just annoyed by the silly, pointlessness of it all. She's pissing in people's Cherrios because she woke up on the wrong side of the hammock and fell in the bilge.

I wonder, is finding out about Santa Claus this big a disappointment to some people, that they go through life having to ruin the pointless joys of others?

As for the pads...are those the ones that have the little moist towelette attached? I thought that was a stroke of genius, myself, but I can see how the little message would be a bit disconcerting.

By the way, I know you wanted us to get together this month, and I'm sorry I haven't gotten back to you until now -- have been insanely busy at work. Anyway, if you still want to do something, let me know. I'm not sure if Shawn can make it or not since his schedule is different from mine, but we'll see.

Hiya! Yes, I wanted to get together this month, but I'm not sure how that's going to happen. :( We're still sans a car you see. :( Which makes me sad.

D*mn I missed it! That's what I get for burying myself in grad school to avoid depression. Now I'm unhappy.
On the other hand, I have compare/contrast thoughts of Johnny Depp's characters from "Secret Window" (watched for the first time last night) and "Pirates...". Weird brain o' mine.
