Massive Update Post

Because I've been AWOL for about a week.

Other than having to work and being exhausted (I worked Friday and Saturday, had Sunday off, which was Mom's birthday, so I was in Dickson, then had to work M-F 9-5:30 after a week and a half of 10:30-7 shifts) I don't really have much reason why I wasn't online. But I generally came home everyday and crashed, hard. You wouldn't think that that hour and a half difference in schedule would be that big a deal, but yeah, it really is. I like 9-5:30 better, but the transition can be rough. Also, it was the first time in awhile that I'd had 5 days straight. Usually my schedule is more broken up than that. Weird, ne?

Personal-type stuff

So, we're hosting a Gathering in our back yard. I had today off (as mentioned previously, though I do work tomorrow) - I've spent most of it, as well as most of last night, hiding in my room. A lot of that time I've been sleeping. Am exhausted. Still. I did go out for a little while and be people - I really do adore several of the people that are here. Actually, I like most all of them. But all at one time! Eeep! I vacillate pretty wildly between being manically outgoing and incredibly introverted. I enjoy people, I really do, but the more tired I am, the less defenses I have against them. Totally raw empath when I'm worn down and we're talking about very charismatic people. So, yes, have been hiding, and going out and being social in small doses. Also, it's given me a chance to catch up on things like icon-making and fic-writing and reading (though I have several things I need to respond to still. Like all the stuff ez_as_pi has posted this week, and the Doctor Who fic fahye wrote.)

I got a nifty pretty from my favorite Owl. It's flourite and yay.

And I have hit totally random - oh yes! Almost forgot!


lithium_doll has hit her 1000 post, and is trying for 1000 comments on said post, and is also offering to make a limited number of mini-vids. She is taking requests, and will then choose about 18 of the suggestions (not the first 18, mind, but out of all of them) to do. She is excellent at the vidding, btw. (If you haven't checked out her stuff, DO! There's Farscape and Firefly and Battlestar and all sorts of other things.) Her post is here. Go play!

Yup. That and finishing up the fic-that-ate-my-head. So far I only have two scenarios for the Roswell one. Maybe 3 if I squint. :(

But there'll be BSG fic soon! Very soon! Am just waiting to hear back from the betas one last time!
