How often/long were you here in Austria? The quick a-country-a-day approach, or something more restful? Did you enjoy it here?

I was actually there for two or three days. My school participated in a student concert series when I was 17. About 90 kids from various schools across the state toured around Europe and performed in several different cities (usually in parks or something like that). We stayed near Innsbruck. And I did enjoy it. ::G::

How was your Japan trip, btw?! I keep meaning to ask!

:-) we're only leaving on the 19th to go there, so I'm still wondering about how we'll fare. *g*
But we're in the process of arranging meetings with some folks who live there through the hospitality club, which should be very cool. Some have promised to show us around Tokyo a bit. :-)
So I'm in high hopes, really. *bouncing*

The concert thing sounds fun. Innsbruck is pretty much at the other end of the country (which isn't saying much, I know *lol*), but incidentally we'll be there in a few days. A friend of mine lives there. Funny coincidence.

Ah! K. (I wondered why you hadn't mentioned it on your journal!) I'm so jealous you get to go! You must have lots of fun and then tell me all about it!

*g*

You must have lots of fun and then tell me all about it!

Be careful what you wish for. ;-)

The welcome dinner party organised by a Hospitality Club member who has a club of his own that does that a lot should be a fun activity to start the trip off. *bounces*
It's looking great, and the more we are in contact with people in Japan, the more confident I'm growing. So, I guess I'll be able to accomplish that task you just set me. *ggg*

Looks like we'll film a bit, too - and they say a picture says more than a 1000 words, so maybe that'll be better. I'll try to post some stuff at xanga when I return. :-)
