Does anyone happen to know if you can both go to the guidance center in M'boro as a patient *and* work there at the same time? Because the Fates have a twisted sense of humor some times. One of the temp agencies I'm signed up with called yesterday and said that they had a medical receptionist job available and did I want them to send in my resume? I said sure. They call back today to tell me to go to an interview tomorrow, and I find out that the job? It's for the Guidance Center. Which is where I'm going to have to start going for mental health treatment. If there's no conflict, then yippy-skippy and it could potentially be great. If there's a conflict, if I got offered the job I'd have to turn it down.

And WHY does MTSU take four-bloody-evers to even get names submitted for interviews?

the guidance center is technically the same company i work for. it's after five now, but i can ask a superior somebody tomorrow and let you know. i'm not sure. they probably don't prefer it, and may ask that you go to another office of volunteer ( we cover 31 counties in the state, all one system) - there are offices in franklin, lebanon, and smyrna to name a few within driving distance. or it may just come down to wheter you're comfortable with it. either way, i can easily find out for you for sure and let you know.

Well, I was volunteering for the June Anderson's Women's Center on-campus, while also seeing the counselour there. I'm sure it isn't preferred, but I think it should still be kosher. That is, as long as someone else handles your biling & records & stuff.
