Last post before I leave?

cybermathwitchSo obviously I didn't take the computer in. I woke up yesterday with a *really* sore shoulder and didn't feel like frelling with it. I'll wait and take it in when I move back to the 'boro. It's easier.
Called about my car - he wasn't sure if he'd fixed the AC or not and told us to call back this morning so we've got to do that. Nanny said that if I couldn't take my car I could borrow hers. It's much older (and I like *my* car, dammit) but a 6-8 hour drive w/o an AC is something I'll only do if I have to - and I don't think Ann would do at all. Oh well.
I'm having dress issues - I'm about to the point of just packing all three of them and getting Ann and Maren and Cristin to choose for me. Sigh. It's silly, really, but this is like the *only* dressy thing I do all year. It's the highlight of my social calendar, so to speak - although that's mostly because you just can't be *that* concerned with how you look at Gatherings. You're out in the woods, with no mirrors, for heaven's sake. So yeah, drama there.
Corde is being a *real* sweetheart and making me Jool/Chi buttons. These are the reasons why I love this fandom so much. There are so many wonderful people here, who've become real friends above and beyond just talking about the show. Someone (Natalie, maybe?) made the comment that Farscape doesn't get talked about at ScaperCon that much. Some, sure, but it's more about just seeing everyone again and hanging out in general. Ok, I'm being really sappy, but I'm bound to be that way at least until I get there, and probably longer. I'm just so hyper/happy/jazzed about the whole thing.
I have to finish laundry, pack, and make Cristin Enterprise tapes. Not to mention I wanna burn some CDs before I go. Particularly a Chiana/Bitch CD for the road, and I want to make one of some of TechScaper's remixes for the FS factor. Maybe, if I'm really lucky on time, I can make a WB one...
Totally off-topic, but I was watching Pink's new video and Whoa! is she hot in the little black robe that shows very obviously that she's taped black x's over her nipples - and that's *all* she's wearing under the robe. (I'm gonna be a hormonal case all weekend, too, btw. It's all witchblade's fault, that show is like Farscape on pheromones, and that's saying something.)
