Nov. 8th, 2002 06:57 pmMy room is about 2/3 rearranged. Now all I have to do is move the dresser and the tiered bookcase, find a place for my trunk, and pile/sort all the clutter so I can get to my desk to set up my computer some time this century. I think it's been about 3 weeks now since I've had Lana up and running. ::whimpers:: Of course, I've been on Kate (my parent's, formerly my, computer) the whole time, on a semi-regular basis, but it's still not the same.
Thank you Cristin, for making me *really* want to see the extended version, which I won't be able to get my hands on 'til Christmas...
Happy Birthday to my friend, Elyssa (the best cyber-friend a girl could have.) ;)
I caught the last bit of "Musings of a Cigarette Smoking Man" on TNT this afternoon. I hadn't ever actually seen it before, just heard about it, but it *hurt*. And the visuals were gorgeous and haunting in several places. (The gun shadow/reflection/echo superimposed over him when Deep Throat kills the alien, him sighting the rifle on Frohike, and the irony of his flipping a coin to decide who killed the alien when he so carefully orchestrates everything else around him. Also, the power of cultural traditions, that they are in the midst of a world shaking/changing meeting, and still are doing Christmas things. Love it love it love it. I'd forgotten how much I loved XF. Oh, almost forgot, also really loved him watching survellaince of M and S's first meeting, hearing the words most M/S fans know by heart w/ only him as a visual.)
Time for Firefly! More later!
