cybermathwitch | Long Time, No Post - as Well as Many Announcements...

Gah, to real life - not that I've had any to speak of that would make me so behind on, oh, everything online-related, yet somehow I *am* awfully behind and on top of that everything else is a veritable wreck.

So, in a nutshell... (and working backwards, somewhat...)

Happy Thanksgiving to all! (My favorite bit from this year? A church sign that said "this is the holiday we celebrate our dependence". I'm very behind that sentiment - I'd be lost without my communities, both off the 'net and on it.)

No comments as yet on BoP (We went to Nashville Wed. night and I haven't seen the tape yet), Wallabedarneds (sp?) (a mixed drink at Outback Steakhouse) rock the house, Buffy was eeek-some, Smallville was passable (if just a little rushed - they meet, they fall in love, she betrays him, she dies, all in an hour folks), and there was no Charmed on TNT drat it all. Oh yeah, and my dad called the baddie on Buffy almost a month (if not more) ago. And speaking of Smallville - where the *HELL* did I miss this whole "Lana's father" bit?!?!?!? Yeesh. I hope this doesn't mean she's moving out of Chloe's, cause then I'd have to be sad.

Missed Monday and Sunday, no Firefly last friday, I found the version of Parcheesi I was looking for at Target (after I called and they said they didn't have it - I think it was a mis-communication), I might actually have a shot at symphonic band next semester at college and the flute instructor is great, my most recent Avon order *finally* came, Lifetime is running the Nanny, which is fantastic, I finally saw Changing Rooms and it's *hilarious*, I've seen Harry Potter twice now, both times rocked, and my room is in fact farther from being habitable than it was this time last week. ::deep sigh::

I'm going in for surgery on Wednesday (the damn tonsils are finally coming out). Even though it's not 'til then, this is gonna be my last post for awhile because tomorrow after I'm done cooking Cranberry Ketchup (no tomatoes are involved, it's like a really spicy cranberry sauce. Ketchup here means the process of cooking and preserving a certain way) and Chex Mix I'm off for my coven's thanksgiving feast and party. Then I'm staying with my friend til I go to the hospital on Wednesday because she has three little kids and her husband's gonna be out of town until Tues. (You need more than two hands to juggle two babies. Eeek.) So no 'net and therefore no LJ. Any thoughts, energy, whathaveyou that's good and healing is appreciated. I'm sure everything will be fine ::knocks on wood:: but I'm nervous about it. I've never had any kind of surgery before, nor been under anaesthesia, and what I've heard about how painful it is kind of scares me.

So, hopefully more show updates soon. I love you all, and hope to talk to you again in the near future.
