I think I know at least one reason why I LOVE Kara Thrace...

she's Willow's adorable-ness+Aeryn's kick-assness+Chiana michevious-ness all rolled into one.

So much love.

So, possible Season 2 spoilers for an interesting line of thinking that [profile] korens_puppy came up with... (BSG of course):

Ok, we know by now that Baltar has a Six in his head, and Six has a Baltar in *her* head... but what if they're not the only ones?  The whole "chip" theory is kind of a wash with the Baltar!Vision Caprica Six's got going on.  What if the reason that Leoben knows so much about Kara, and was so jazzed to meet her and is looking for her, is because he has his own Kara in his head.  Brian thinks that there's some larger power/creature/race/being frakking with everyone.  I don't know how I feel about that particular explanation, but I'm certainly intrigued about whether or not anyone else is going to start talking to themself.

and also, meme

Official rules:
List seven songs you are into right now. No matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they're not any good, but they must be songs you're really enjoying now. Post these instructions in your journal along with your seven songs then tag seven other people to see what they're listening to.

It's too late at night for me to come up with 7 people - call it a free-for-all.

1. "24" by Jem - very good end-of-the-world or "we're gonna go get ourselves killed" song.  It's a countdown from 24 hours to none.
2. "Proud" by Heather Small - I blame [profile] elflore for showing me the BSG vid to this song, though I already knew about it (the song).  It's fantastic for any fandom, but BSG in particular, and I'm seriously considering tracking down the vidder and asking if she (he?) plans on doing a season 2 version, cause - Love!
3. "Angry Angel" by Imogen Heap - Kara/Lee all the way.
4. "Prayer" by Disturbed - more BSG love
5. "Shameless" by Ani Difranco - Kara in all sorts of ways
6. "Walking with a Ghost" - Tegan and Sara - BSG-ish
7. "Place Called Home" - PJ Harvey - Very BSG

I turned on PJ Harvey :) Excellent stuff here. I don't think I know of Heather Small. Will check out video soon. This was a fun little meme!

Chip theory: Fascinating! Might even be on to something there...

Me, I just can't wait for them to tell us how the frak Baltar survived a *nuclear explosion* that totalled his *house* and killed Six. They only remind us of it in the credits every episode. *snerk*

My money says he IS a Cylon, or a Cylon-human duplicate of some kind...

The BSG vid to "Proud" is just, guh. Much guh. (Ok, it gets that reaction both technically - it's just flat out beautifully put together - *and* creatively, because it works sooooooooo well with the stories and characters she uses.) The site is here: http://www.dualbunny.com/buffy/ .

I got the impression that the house was hit by the concussion a fair ways from the epicenter. That's actually mostly a matter of surviving the debris, and Six shielding him probably helped. But since there were *several* survivors from that general area, I'm thinking they weren't quite ground zero.

Pandamonium???

OK -- you've got Jem, but where are the Holograms? And are there any songs with Jem AND the Holograms? As for Baltar, I'm still waiting for Lord Iblis to show up. If you want somebody back in the shadows pulling the strings, Baltar and Six and the Emperor Dalek put together won't be able to beat out that one. (Having now caused all the confusion currently on tap, I'll just slip silently away and let the T Rex and the velociraptors finish the place and each other!)

I suppose that's possible...

Still seemed pretty suspicious to me. And they seemed to be hinting that it was indeed suspicious in that epi where we saw the reborn Six on Caprica with her Harvey!Baltar. (Who is the best Baltar ever!)

When I told Ann that this show was a mix of X-Files and Farscape, I really wasn't kidding.

::headdesk::

Wrong Jem, Diana Rigg could wipe the floor with the lot of them, and we have velociraptors?! Where?!

I love you.

We HAD some velociraptors but Mei-mei ran them off. She got one of the claws on a hind foot in her hair while she was scratching her ear. That set her to whimpering until I got her untangled; velociraptors HATE whimpering, so they left. I was thinking about sending them to the Titans for special teams - the Titans need all the help they can get!

ROTFL!!!!

Brian says that I am definately your daughter and we're both just wrong. ::snerk::

The more I think about it, I doubt the velociraptors would have been any help for the Titans. Mrs. Peel and Pussy Galore together probably couldn't have helped them. Legend says something about the the British Empire being in trouble when the ravens leave the Tower of London, but what happens when the Tower leaves London to join the ravens? Which "we" are both just wrong, and about what? And when will somebody explain the difference between tactics and strategic goals to the *** in the Stone House (ref to pre-1812 nomenclature, the composition of ***'s head and the morning press conference that I stumbled across during the Today show)? I knew there was some reason I quit watching morning shows when Ralph Emery quit doing his morning show. At least the Disney Channel is running The Aristocats! Oh, tell K.P. that it's (whatever "it" is) contagious as well as hereditary!

Am I to correctly assume that the Stone House was the term used for the home of the President prior to 1812?

I love you. Lots.

Yep! Darned Brits got it all dirty from burning the city and the soot wouldn't wash off so it had to be whitewashed. And we've been doing it ever since (and we don't even need the Brits as an excuse anymore)!
