I'd tried watching the mini and couldn't get into it, and then the first couple of epis Jodie showed us when attempting to hook us were 'Tigh Me Up Tigh Me Down' and 'Colonial Day'...and out of context, they just didn't do a lot for me either. But then she and Krissy showed us this vid, and I saw everything I'd been hoping BSG was gonna be...family issues with Lee & his dad, the Kara/Lee shippy, humans struggling to hold together in the face of incredible disaster, and kick-ass starfighter combat. It was exactly the feeling I wanted from the show...so I gave BSG one more chance, and started feeling the love. *g*)
Also, I'm with Jo...Anders is actually a cool guy. And the essence of the triangle there is that Kara doesn't feel she's good enough for Lee, she feels like she'd only bring him down, mess things up in his life. With Anders, she's got a clean slate, no familial history, she doesn't have to work with him and she gets to rescue him, so...
