So this morning, around 10am, two men with a big truck came and took almost everything away away to my mom's house where we're going to be living soon. This was almost kind of anti-climactic, although the migraine I was having and the fact that I was busy trying to set fire to the microwave oven might also've been distractions from what was going on. The good, amazing part of this was that every box that left the house (I'm pretty sure) was actually sorted (at least broadly) and gone through, which hasn't happened in, well, ever.
We, along with the essentials we'll need for the next week and the foodstuffs in our fridge and cabinets, stayed behind so that we can spend the rest of the week cleaning up and so forth.
In other news, I am having a couple serious cases of yarn lust and a MAJOR case of tech-lust. The yarn is pretty general, simply an "I want new yarn" sort of thing, but the tech... oh, Jim walked in tonight with an HP TABLET. And I realize that it's a discontinued model, but it's still a TABLET COMPUTER BY HP OMG. And I want one. I've wanted a tablet PC for years (and you should *SEE* the Ink Art program in the Microsoft Experience pack omgomgomgomgomg) and HP is just lovely. It would be around 1250 or so. Which I know we don't have. And would be horribly irresponsible for me to even think about. ::sad::
My world is very topsy turvy right now.
