Life is... life. Actually, really, life is pretty damn good right now - and not just because Anam Cara (@checkmated) has been updated. (Though that certainly helps.

I'm trying to get my life back on track. Well, ok, it's been on track for awhile now, granted, but not so much internally.

I'm in love.

He's wonderful, as close to perfect for me as is realistic, I like (and am liked - adopted even) by his family, and yes I am knocking on a whole forest of willow trees on this one.

Speaking of which, I found the perfect twig of willow to be a wand. I also have a black walnut knitting needle (Brittany, discontinued :(, and the mate broke) I'm thinking about using... I like the symbolism there.

I'm trying to figure out what meaning I associate with Imbolc. Of all the Sabbats *that* one is the most nonsensical in my head. (Lammas doesn't exactly have a place in my personal wheel, because for me the grain is a gift rather than anthropamorphized and is inherently feminine - but I *get* it. I get why it's in the Wiccan wheel, and why it *does* have meaning for many, many people.) Not so much w/ the Imbolc.

Or rather, that time of year has some interesting signifigance for me, but nothing even *REMOTELY* approaching Wiccan theology.

Need to research Greek agriculture and festival dates more.

For now though? Gonna go primp w/ masks and stuff and curl up to read Anam Cara over again... NEW CHAPTER! WOOOHOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!
