Just thought I'd drop in a quick note before we left for the morning. We're going apartment hunting today - hoorah! We went on Monday too... and found this absolutely beautiful old place over on East Main. It's an old building and it has *tons* of windows... lots and lots of light. Instead of having windows on the front and the back of the place, it has them on three sides. The only side that doesn't have them is the side that has the door and the stairwells. Rent is a little higher than I'd wanted though - about 525, and we were hoping for under 500. But it would be worth the extra expense to me if we could swing it. Painting would be iffy too. I'd have to give up my dark burgundy walls in my bedroom and go for something lighter because of how old the plaster on the walls is. I think I could do that though.
