A Post, in Which I Do Actually Exist, and Also Have a Fic Question...

I have two questions, come to think of it.

First, how do you, my bestest flist, save fanfic that you like? Do you just bookmark it and trust that it will still be there on the morrow? Or is there some way in which you web-clip it to somewhere so that you can read it whenever? What options do I have there?


Second, I have a Droid, and need an LJ client that shows my flist. This is now the primary way that I get online, and the "offical" client is strictly a post upload program. Bonus points if it's Free.


Is anyone still out there reading this? I know I've been gone a *really* long time. I want desperately to get back into blogging, but I just haven't figured out where and how and all that good frustrating stuff...

I generally either use my print to PDF on my lappy, or I copy to a word document. You never know when someone will have a bad day and delete their journal or website :P

Can't help with the droid, I just use my web on my blackberry..

I read this! I'm lost on the Droid, but on the fic ... I usually copy/paste into a word document, along with the web address for where I found it and/or the writer's info, and send to myself at gmail (i don't store anything on my computer)

I've been looking for a droid app that'll show my flist too, but haven't found any. the mobile LJ site has a nice quick load of the flist though.

Ditto on everyone who saves their fic in word or pdf with the url and the author's name. I have a particularly large folder of fanfic sitting on my hd. hehehehe :)

No real solutions to your downloading issues, but I did want to comment to say that I've not been around a lot lately, either, but I'm trying to get back in touch with folks in a more laid-back and conversation-inducing way than Facebook. :-) *hugs*

Hi! Yeah, I definitely try to keep copies of my favorites - I just wish I had a better way than editable docs. PDFs might be a thought, though. :)

I think I'm going to end up having to just link to the page. I should be able to make a bookmark/link so that won't be too much of a problem. :)
