BSG fic help please!

So, I have a friend that wants BSG fic. Only, she's only seen the show up through Scar. So what I need to know, is what fic is good, that's there or right before there.

Please to have recs and suggestions?

Hmm, I probably have a few old links I could look up if you like. Though what I do remember off the top of my head is my massive K/L fic that went AU after Epiphanies. Without trying to sound like a total snob, I could give you the link if you want. I also have K/L AU pre-mini fic going as a WIP now, though it's kind of on hiatus for a bit.

I'll check stuff that I've bookmarked in the past and get back to you. :)

Oh man, that's difficult. It's hard to remember after all the fic that came out in S3 and S4. Are we talking Lee/Kara or just BSG gen?

If we're talking Lee/Kara, here's what's probably the best idea: check out caprican_dame's LJ. She's been reccing Lee/Kara fics left, right, and center. Her LJ is a gem.

For gen or other pairings/focuses, I'd recommend checking out daybreak777 and siljamus' recs lists. They're the best recs lists in the BSG fandom, IMO.

But no matter what your friend wants to read, she must read Twelve. You have not read BSG fic until you have read this. It is possibly the best BSG fic, in all honesty. It's completely AU by now (it was written in S1 I think) but it is still fascinating.
