And the Fifty Worst(?) Songs are...

Gacked from [livejournal.com profile] ladysorka

Fifty worst songs, according to Blender magazine. Bold the ones you like. Add why they shouldn't be on the list.

I don't think I can really argue about whether or not something should be on here coherently - if I like them, I like them, and if not, then I don't. It's not always quantifiable.

As an added challenge, strikethrough any songs you *don't know*. (KorenM)

13. Illegal Alien ... Genesis Can't disagree, this song sucks ass.
14. From a Distance ... Bette Midler
15. I'll Be There for You ... The Rembrandts -

28. Your Body Is a Wonderland ... John Mayer

41. We Didn't Start the Fire ... Billy Joel I actually kinda like this song, don't tell anybody, I'll deny it.
42. The Sounds of Silence ... Simon & Garfunkel I won't even deny liking this song. I hate most of Simon & Garfunkel's other stuff, though.

50. My Heart Will Go On ... Celine Dion

How come "Bungle in the Jungle" by Jethro Tull didn't make the cut? Or "MacArthur Park?" The Macarena? "My Sweet Lord" by George Harrison (badly ripping off the Chantrelles "He's so Fine doo lang doo lang dulang")? Or the disco song "Stayin' Alive?" Those are some bad songs.
