Hmm... and they say I don't sound southern...

92% (Dixie). Is General Lee your father?

No one at work ever believes that I was born and raised in the south. Yeesh.

66% (Dixie). A definitive Southern score!

Um. I'm from Idaho.

Okay, so I've lived in Tennessee (barring a brief stint in Hessegeny, I mean West Virginia) for twenty years. But I'm from Idaho, dammit.

Koren? You sound more southern than me (although I got a percentage point higher than you on the test...wacky test). Why on Earth do people not believe you were raised in TN?

No frelling clue - but everytime someone asks where we're located and I tell them TN they invariably ask where I'm from, and are very surprised to find out that I was born and raised here. Not to mention my coworkers will occasionally have to be re-convinced. ::shrug::

That's so weird...you sound very much like a southerner to me. Especially now that I'm surrounded by northern accents and I can identify southern ones much better.
